ⓐ What is Project Vinculum

We are a Turkey-based non-profit social innovation organization that aims to deliver STEM education to middle and high school students in Turkey who have limited access to resources and opportunities due to their socio-economic status, gender, or geographic location.

ⓑ Will There Be A Language Barrier

Absolutely not! :) All of our Turkish team members, including our founder & CEO, are proficient in English and most of them even speak more than two languages. Furthermore, all of the international positions are specifically tailored for the international applicants--so we thought about all the possible problems beforehand and made sure that you will never encounter them!

➡ It is an "out of the box" experience that will stand out on your resume: it proves that you are confident enough to get out of your comfort zone and be a part of an international team!

➡ You will work closely with our CEO and the International International EXCO to develop and grow our organization: it's an opportunity to make lots of friends from a different country and grow your network!

➡ Unfortunately, Turkey is one of the epicenters of educational inequality and there are not many NPO/NGOs working to change that, so your work and effort will be recognized and actually make a huge difference in many people's lives.

➡ This is an unpaid position, but it is an amazing opportunity for you to be a part of a truly international team!

➡ Your workload will be a maximum of 3-4 hours per week.

➡ International EXCO (Executive Committee) meetings will be held weekly/bi-weekly, you are expected to be present unless you have a valid reason for not to participate.
